Hello Gator Families

Welcome to this week's edition of the Family Newsletter! We're excited to share the latest happenings and updates from our school community to keep you informed and engaged.

Monthly Attendance Tracker

Don't forget to send your child's Attendance Tracker at the end of the week! Please sign it and return it to the school by Friday, so we can celebrate their GREAT attendance1

Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage Month is quickly approaching. We are looking for parents who would like to come read to a class. We will provide the book and assign you a class based on your availability. Below is the sign up link.

Magical Alegrijes Contest

Create an alebrije with your family and participate to win a special prize.
*If you have students in different grade levels, please submit 1 alebrije per family.

Voting will happen during Parent Conference Week.

Parent Conference Week Coming Soon

Parent Conference Week will be October 6th-9th.
Be on the look out for communication from your child's teacher(s) about setting up a day and time.
Attending conference is an important way to strengthen the connection between school and home. We want to partner with parents for the betterment of all students.

Big Kahuna Student Fundraiser

Big Kahuna has started!
Big Kahuna is a our student fundraiser. With parent permission, students get a box of snacks worth a total of $60 dollars. Parent can buy the box outright or help their students sell the items. We run the fundraiser for 3 weeks.

This is an optional fundraiser. Students who sell a certain amount are rewarded with a trip to CiCis pizza on a party bus on December 1st!

Attendance Reminders

Tardy bell rings at 7:50
Partial day absences occur from 8:10 a.m to 9:30am 
Arrival after 9:30 a.m without valid reason are record as full-day absence 

*We have lots of frequently late arrivals. We understand it's hard to "get back into the groove" of school. We encourage you to reset for you and your families. Small routines and habits help with being successful during the busy mornings. *
