Welcome to this week's edition of the Family Newsletter! We're excited to share the latest happenings and updates from our school community to keep you informed and engaged.

Planning Ahead for End of Year Events

As we get ready for the end of the year events, we want to communicate district expectations so things run smoothly.

We are required to scan ids for all visitors on campus during school hours. Visitors MUST have a valid ID or Passport to be scanned for campus access. This helps us with our number 1 priority--Student & Staff Safety.

*Play Day 2026 is scheduled for Friday, May 22nd

Award Ceremonies are as follows:

May 26th: PreK @ 8:30; Kinder @ 12:30; 1st @ 2:00
May 27th: 2nd @ 8:30; 3rd @ 12:30; 4th @ 2:00
May 28th: 5th @ 9:00

We will begin pre-scanning in soon! Be on the lookout for flyers!

Second Round of STAAR Testing Happening Wednesday, April 15th

ALL 5th graders will take their Science STAAR test on Wednesday, April 15th. It is CRITICAL that you have your student present at school on time.

No deliveries on STAAR days. Please send students with snacks and lunches.

Parent Lunch Schedule

As you're planning to come on campus for parent lunches, please remember to get to campus early. Every parent has to have their ID scanned. This takes time. Coming early will ensure you get your sticker and make it to the cafe when lunch starts.

While eating with your student, we're asking that you're not watching cartoons on your phones. We have games that you can borrow and play.

Tardy bell rings at 7:50

Partial day absences occur from 8:10 a.m to 9:30am

Arrival after 9:30 a.m without valid reason are record as full-day absence

*We have lots of frequently late arrivals. We encourage you to reset for you and your families. Small routines and habits help with being successful during the busy mornings. *
